Hello! I am Henrique Campos, a Software Developer with a thrill for inovative and creative projects. I acquired my Licenciate and Master's degree in Information Systems and Computers Engineering at
Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon.
During my
Master Thesis, I started working as a researcher for
GAIPS
, a research group of
INESC-ID, in which I researched new deliberation models for intelligent virtual agents and developed a serious game that aims to teach children on how to solve conflicts,
My Dream Theatre
(
SIREN project
).
After that project, I participated in a 6 month internship at
NII, in which I developed a reworked version of a driving simulation serious game, iCO2, which allowed players to explore eco-friendly behaviours.
Currently, I am a Game Programmer for Ranj Serious Games, where I am developing challenging and state-of-the-art serious games.
My passion for games has drawn me to these challenging projects, which allowed me to contribute in games that have a much deeper meaning. I believe that serious games are here to stay and greatly improve education and training.
